16th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival

This section introduces a selection of international films about music or musicians, films in which music plays a major role, and films that explore various aspects of life and culture through music.

 

In Bamboo Theatre, people perform Chinese opera in a temporary theater made of bamboo. Keyboard Fantasies: The Beverly Glenn-Copeland Story celebrates the life of a musician who engages with people through music formed in the midst of long isolation and gender identity crisis. Medium chronicles the life and work of the 93-year-old pianist Margarita FERNÁNDEZ.

 

In addition, 5 short films, including Marrakech Woman Houariyat—which conveys the basic energy of Africa—will be introduced. This section features 8 films in total.​
