Gaspar trains for the Malambo dancing tournament. His body aches, but he makes an extraordinary effort in order to achieve his goal. He has visions of his opponent, who has beaten him. He feels resentful, and that inescapable feeling towards his competitor disturbs him. Gaspar tries to improve his technique aided by his instructor, and at the same time, he trains children in the art of zapateo. One day, he bumps into his enemy, the winner of the tournament. His rival is kind and real, and Gaspar's envy and bitterness might give way at that moment.
Santiago Loza was born in 1971, in Cordoba, Argentina. He studied at the Cinema School of the National Institute of Cinematography and at the Municipal School of Dramatic Art. His films have appeared in numerous festivals, obtaining multiple national and international awards. He was a jury at the Festivals of Lima, Sanfic, Toulouse, Cannes, among others.
