Ardeshir suffers from lung cancer and has only six months to live. Ardeshir's son, Satyar is a musician and collects his father's money from debtors in an unusual way. Visiting the debtors one by one, he goes through a journey that unveils one’s life, relationship and how music works to them. The film brings up the fragments of life such as greed, loss, love and connection onto the surface and invites us to see them in different way.
Born in 1974, Kaveh Moeinfar is an Iranian director and writer. He started his career in cinema by collaboration with some famous Iranian directors (Bahman Ghobadi, Mohsen Makhmalbaf, etc.) and a Golden Globe-winner Afghan film director Siddiq Barmak, as an assistant director in 1998 and continued this until 2005. < Life without Life > is his first feature film.
