Synopsis

When boxing prospect Hoon suddenly decides to quit boxing, his coach, Mansik, tries to talk him out of it, telling him that if he fights him and wins, he can do whatever he wants. They step into the ring.

Program Note

The film starts with a young boxing athlete and his middle-aged coach-father facing off in the ring, with a crucial match ahead. Having endured excessively harsh and violent training, Hoon declares his intention to quit boxing, but this decision is not accepted. Just as the film seems to focus on the father-son and mentor-student conflict, it takes a dramatic turn after Hoon's powerful punch! The boxing stage transforms into a dazzling neon-lit spectacle, and Hoon, now ready to live authentically and receive acclaim, sheds his boxing robe to appear in drag. His liberated dancing and singing reveal the desires he had to conceal for so long, bringing his hidden passions to vibrant life. (Park Got)
