Synopsis

Mojori, an aspiring rapper, is caught up in his dreams. But reality catches up just as quickly—his girlfriend Harin finds out he¡¯s buried himself in three million won of debt to film a music video. The voices of neighborhood gangsters come creeping in. With nowhere to hide, Mojori slips out the window and flees.

Program Note

Amid an uncertain reality, a young man takes steps toward his dream of becoming a rapper. Yet the weight of his burdens is far from light. Money borrowed for a music video leaves him chased by local gangsters. The film skillfully blends harsh reality with humor and inventive twists, driving the story forward with lively energy. An unexpected scene where a large neighborhood thug showcases impressive rap skills, seemingly overpowering the underdog, sparks both awe and laughter. Masters are hidden everywhere, and music unites everyone to the same beat, even in hostile circumstances. Will this challenging youth's survival story end happily, or become just another verse? (Jin. Cho)
