Synopsis
A self-proclaimed baseball genius, a die-hard musician, a man who stakes his life on nude painting, and a fearless brute. One late night, they stop eating instant noodles halfway through and decide to rob a gas station. Why? For no reason! The cash register is empty, but the fuel tanks are full. So they take the customers hostage and start turning fuel into money. Unimaginable chaos unfolds as the gas station raiders¡¯ frenzy begins.
Program Note
No Mark, Ddan Ddara, Mu Daepo, and Paint each had their reasons for storming the gas station. They were ignored for being orphans, forced to quit music to repay debts, humiliated with punishments like 'bang your head', and mocked for pursuing art. For them, it was a form of resistance. The OST, featuring No Youngsim, matched this with rock tracks like Little Love and Song of Hope. Though their stories were tragic, the film's comic and energetic tone felt fresh, drawing 750,000 audience in Seoul and becoming a hit. (Huh Namwoong)
