Synopsis

Zooyoung and her contrabass are wandering in space after leaving the planet due to a food shortage. Meanwhile, the Earth is overflowing with plastic, their staple food, and Pureum lives there. Pureum's song leads Zooyoung and the contrabass to the Earth, and they finally meet after a long journey towards each other.

Program Note

A person who worries about plastic waste connects with someone who eats it. Though from different planets, they share one thing: they both talk to their instrument friends. Pureum calls her off-tune guitar by name and comforts it, while Zooyoung carries, feeds, and argues with her moody contrabass. Their bond reflects the essence of this planet—where harmony requires delicate attention. Through its characters, the film shows that such fragile communication is rare, yet affirms it exists and is strong enough to draw distant worlds together. Dreamlike images and gentle songs bring this to life, seamlessly weaving documentary and fantasy. (Suan Seol)
