Synopsis

At her friend's suggestion, Sung-mi agrees to appear in a short film for a high fee. But upon arriving at the set of the 'Cinema Class' club, she is disappointed to find an unprofessional crew full of passion but lacking skill.

Program Note

Sung-mi, a seasoned middle school actress in the film industry, participates in a regional film festival workshop to earn some pocket money. An instructor who is also the director, participants with various backgrounds begin creating an action zombie movie. As always, the production process is filled with unexpected accidents. This might remind some of One Cut of the Dead(2018), but the film boldly and cleverly transcends that category through Sung-mi's perspective. Facing the bitter divides between profitable and unprofitable films, central and regional, adults and children, ideals and reality we experience, alongside Sung-mi, the overwhelming challenge of still making films today.
