Stet, a rebellious boy closed off from the world, is urged by his principal to audition for the elite National Boychoir School, which accepts only the most gifted. Though he¡¯s never had musical training, the choir¡¯s director, Carvelle, sees his raw talent and puts him through intense training-offering not just discipline but life lessons. Under Carvelle¡¯s guidance, Stet begins to feel hope for the first time and slowly changes.
Program Note
A boy's unheard voice calls an angel in a strange harmony. Boychoir delicately depicts a wounded soul's rebirth through the miracle of music. The film also moves deeply in showing teachers who recognize the boy's pain and talent, helping him with genuine care. Listening to the choir's songs brings a chilling yet refreshing cleanse, a true summer¡¯s rest. (Yang hee) Barrier-free version Directed by Shin Dongil | Audio Description Narrated by Lee Ilhwa
