In Suncheon Bay, Felix, a bowed fiddler crab who lives alone and is tired of competition, survives an attack by a spoonbill with Madeline, becomes a couple, and gives birth to a son, Sonny.

This animation is divided into three parts. A crab named Felix, a violinist, meets Madeline and starts a family. As promised, the couple struggles to raise and protect their child. Set in tidal flats, the microcosm's theme is more a celebration of living than mere survival. Made with CG and stop-motion, the latter especially reflects the creator's hand, fitting the film's theme. The film vividly captures the liveliness of sea creatures, with the band's performance early on standing out as the highlight. Their playful music-making and dancing evoke admiration. (Lee Yongcheol)
