Synopsis
Ju-won and Sol have very different personalities and backgrounds. Ju-won wants to pursue music, but she keeps having conflicts with her mother. Sol, on the other hand, lives in poverty and feels a sense of boredom and anxiety about life. One day, Ju-won happens to hear Sol singing and suggest that they perform together. As they prepare for the performance, they comfort each other and begin their journey toward independence and self-discovery.
Program Note
High school students Ju-won and Sol struggle between anxiety and dreams in their own ways. Ju-won faces her mother's opposition to entering a music competition, while Sol, the top student, endures pressure and fear within the model student role. Their inner worlds are expressed through a musical format, with fast-paced editing, vibrant visuals, and pastel tones creating a bright, lively atmosphere. Despite darkness, the two girls comfort each other and sing together, eventually reaching the preliminary stage of the competition. A coming-of-age story conveying a message of dreams and courage.
