A murder takes place in the small, peaceful town of Twin Peaks. One year after the incident, Laura, a high school girl who has been abused by a mysterious assailant since the age of twelve, discovers that pages from her diary have been torn out. As she begins to sense the assailant’s presence drawing nearer, she is seized with fear.
