After finishing his high school graduation ceremony, where no one came for him, Jisung misses the bus he was supposed to take. At the terminal, he runs into Sunyoung, a substitute teacher whose contract has ended.

Graduating from high school marks the arrival of adulthood. However, Jisung does not welcome this milestone. Instead of family, he is greeted by unpaid phone bills and useless discount messages celebrating his graduation. At a terminal, Jisung unexpectedly meets Sunyoung, a temporary teacher, and they feel a strange kinship. The film follows Jisung's cold journey into independence, a path he has never truly considered before. His harsh reality parallels the plight of the stray cats he cares for. The loose comfort and solidarity between Jisung and Sunyoung offer hope for a new beginning beyond their bleak daily lives and uncertain futures. (Ho Jun Lee)
