Program Note
There are days like this. Just running through each day, then looking up to see everyone happily ahead, their backs turned. Hyeseong, working at a jazz café, fails another audition. A friend excitedly shares that she passed, and Seongchan, who once dreamed of making music together, appears as a guest singer. To make matters worse, a wine glass at a customer¡¯s table breaks, and Hyeseong feels like she alone is unhappy today. Spending a night with a friend who helps her look into her 'fading self,' the film softly hums a gentle tune about the compass that guides life between pure moments of music and harsh reality.
