Down-on-his-luck drummer Mauro flees a trail of bad decisions and lands on his sister's couch in Boston. He begins busking as a bucket drummer and falls back in love with the freedom and pounding momentum that made him chase music in the first place. But Mauro pushes his luck pursuing a secret relationship, and draws everyone else into his own shortcomings.
