The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF), a celebration of both cinema and music, presents two official posters that visually capture the essence of film and LP records.
The first poster, inspired by the cinematic aspect of the festival, features the title "JIMFF" reimagined as a symbolic representation of film. Each letter conveys the characteristics of different musical instruments-J as a wind instrument, I as a vibration, M as a percussion instrument, and F and F as string and other instruments. This typographic design expresses the structural and expressive elements of sound, much like the components of a film.
The second poster, representing the musical side of the festival, arranges the title "JIMFF" in a vibrant, circular composition reminiscent of a spinning LP. The dynamic layout captures the rhythm and motion of music, visually echoing the festival¡¯s identity.
Together, these posters reflect the concept of ¡°All Together JIMFF¡±, blending diverse musical elements into a single, resonant image that captures the multidimensional atmosphere where film and music intersect in harmony.
The official trailer for JIMFF2025, produced under the slogan ¡®all together JIMFF¡¯, presents the signature sensuous visuals of director Lee Myungse, who masterfully weaves music and emotion into a rich tapestry. Accompanied by a waltz-like melody composed by music director Cho Sungwoo and performed by a 40-piece orchestra, the trailer begins with the emergence of a singular presence, captivating the audience¡¯s senses and igniting their imagination. The breathtaking landscape of Uirimji Pine Forest Park in Jecheon unfolds in all its splendor.
