The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF)-Korea’s only music film festival-operates the JIMFF Music & Film Market, an innovative platform where film music composers, directors, and producers come together through the shared language of music.
As Korea’s only market dedicated to film music, the JIMFF Music & Film Market connects promising film projects in need of music with uniquely talented composers. It serves as a collaborative platform that fosters real creative partnerships, elevates the artistic quality of film projects, and helps build a sustainable ecosystem for music-centered filmmaking.
JIMFF Music & Film Market features a diverse lineup of programs including the Opening Event, Business Meeting, Pitching Session, Showcase, OST Fair, JIMFF Connection and Networking Events. Among them, the Business Meeting plays a central role by facilitating one-on-one meetings between selected projects and composers. Participants are chosen through an open call and expert review process to ensure high-quality collaboration opportunities.
In addition, five outstanding projects and five composers will be selected to take part in the Official Pitching Session during the Market. Following the pitching evaluation, one project and one composer will each be awarded KRW 5 million in development support. The supported works will also have the opportunity to be screened at future editions of the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival.
