So many innovative and talented applicants competed in this JIMFF OST Market that the competition was very close. The applicants' music production skills to respond to a variety of genres, as well as their ability to independently carry out film music projects, were primarily evaluated, with a focus on the completeness and commercial quality of the music itself. I was impressed with the applicants¡¯ enthusiasm and outstanding work. Some of the applicants already had prior experiences of various kinds and they seemed to have no difficulty working in the field right away. The only regret is that the applicants couldn't show their finest presentations because they were focused on the on-site performance and that none of the applicants strongly displayed their unique personalities. Overall the works were mostly quite safe, in my perspective
