2026JIMFF Short Film Production Support Project

The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, Asia's first music-themed film festival, is hosting the "2026JIMFF Short Film Production Support Project" to discover and support short film projects of all genres, extending beyond music films.

This year's short film production support project identifies and backs short projects of all genres that are in the planning and pre-production stages. Ten short film projects, strictly selected through preliminary screening by experts, will undergo final evaluation through open pitching during the festival. The two ultimately selected projects will receive a total of 15 million KRW in production grants (10,000,000 KRW for one project, and 5,000,000 KRW for the other) along with plaques. Through this initiative, the festival intends to encourage the future screening of the completed works, establishing a virtuous cycle ecosystem of "discovery-production-screening."

Participants in the 2026JIMFF Short Film Production Support Project will take part in various programs, including the open pitching session for the 10 film projects, an opening event, and networking events for filmmakers and musicians.
