The 22nd JIMFF presents ‘Audience Workshop: A Film’s Journey,’ where creators from various fields, including screenwriters, novelists, production designers, and makeup artists, share their experiences and insights into the process of bringing a film to life. The workshop explores the creative process behind the film.

She has written screenplays for films including Sympathy For Lady Vengeance, I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK, Thirst, The Handmaiden, Believer, and Decision to Leave, as well as TV series Mother, Little Women, and Tempest, working across both film and television.
IM Sooyeon Programmer
After majoring in physics and economics, she served as head of the reporting team at Cine21, gaining extensive hands-on journalism experience. She earned a master’s degree in film studies with a focus on post-cinema, media theory, and posthuman studies. She currently researches artificial intelligence and experiments with emerging media at the Media Futures Lab.

Production designer on Oldboy, Memories of Murder, Mother, The Handmaiden, and Decision to Leave, among others. Awards include the Vulcain Award (Cannes) for The Handmaiden, an LA Film Critics Award, and multiple Blue Dragon Film Awards.

CHEON Myeong-kwan Writer
He began his literary career after winning the Munhakdongne New Writer Award in 2003. In 2023, his novel Whale was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize, and in 2026, he published Accordion. He has written numerous screenplays and directed the feature film Hot Blooded.
JéHee Jazz Accordionist
After studying at CIM and the Niedermeyer School of Music in France, she released JéHee Quintet — WARP DRIVE, which was selected as one of JAZZ PEOPLE’s Top 10 Albums. Her album On The Wind (Ethnic Project_Europe) was nominated for Best Jazz and Crossover Performance at the 2021 Korean Music Awards.
Alley Jazz Vocalist
She studied jazz vocals at CIM in France. As the leader of Alley Jazz Band, she performs at various events and on television.
KIM Doheon Music Critic
Kim Do Heon is a Korean based music critic, journalist. He was the editor and editor-in-chief of IZM, Korea's oldest pop music webzine. Now he is currently a member of Korean Music Awards selection committee. Contributed to the writing of The History of K-Pop: 100 Waves and Rock 200. KIM Jihye Music Director
She began her career in film music as an assistant music director under Bang Junseok. She worked as a composer on films including Escape from Mogadishu, Along With the Gods, The Book of Fish, and Ashfall, and has since served as music director on Handsome Guys, Salmokji: Whispering Water, Hallan, and Heartman: Rock and Love.
CHAI Minjoo Music Director
Chai Minjoo, CEO and Music Director of WAV MUSIC PRODUCTION, has showcased highly immersive music in numerous genre works such as Colony, The Ugly, and The Bequeathed, and is continuing her active work with upcoming releases including Paradise Lost and Dead-End Job.
HEO Junhyeok Music Director
A film music composer with a background as an electronic musician who won the Best Electronic Album at the Korean Music Awards. He continues his active career in genre films such as thrillers and horror, composing music that actively utilizes electronic sounds for films including Unlocked, Noise, and Wall to Wall.
HYUNG Seulwoo Director
He has directed numerous short films and occasionally appeared in films and TV dramas. After making his feature debut in 2023 with Someone You Loved, he has been popping up all over the film industry, searching for things that might be fun.
