Synopsis

Bae E-bee(25/Female), a wandering gypsy moves into an old apartment. There she becomes friends with a man who introduces himself as 'Jesus(33/Male)'. One day, when E-bee realizes Jesus is being chased by NSS agents due to her fault, she fights back with courage to protect her one and only friend. Would E-Bee succeed in protecting Jesus and the apartment?

Program Note

The noisy music coming from the neighbor's house makes it impossible for Bae E-bee(played by Seok hee) to enjoy any peace. When she knocks on the door to complain, who should appear but a man named Jesus(played by Hong Seongho) who not only looks like Jesus but also has a halo-like glow around his head. Having always sought out homes where she could live alone, Ibi learns the meaning of living with someone through an unusual incident with Jesus, ultimately finding 'salvation.' If salvation means finding peace of mind, this film achieves it through its music. Tracks like Sam Wedgwood’s Curtsy and Colin Sheen’s Wartime Waltz are seamlessly integrated into the story, enhancing its character and themes. (Huh Nam-woong)

  • Born in 1999 in Ulsan, South Korea. She graduated from DIMA (Dong-Ah Institute Of Media And Arts) University with a major in film art. She has directed several Extreme-short flims, and Jesus lived in a motel room(2023) is the first official film directing work.
