Synopsis

Kanata Asaya is a high school student. He was impressed by the meaning and expansion music, which is his favorite, when it was accompanied with visual images. Thus, he devoted himself to making music videos every day. While struggling to "create something out of oneself, he met a street musician. He wants to make a music video for this song. Yes, it was the song he has been waiting for——The next day, when he arrived at school, he was stunned and stared at the podium. There stood Yu Orie, the musician who sang yesterday and she is the newly appointed teacher at his high school. Kanata, who keeps making music videos, and Yu, who gave up her dream of becoming a musician after making 100 songs, decide to make the best music video to stir people's hearts.

Program Note

High school student Kanata, who is deeply immersed in making music videos, becomes captivated by the song of a mysterious singer performing a desperate busking act on a rainy night. When Kanata investigates the singer's whereabouts, he unexpectedly discovers that she is the new teacher at his school. The animation A Few Moments of Cheers explores the path of becoming an artist. The emotional intersection between Kanata, who is just beginning to embark on the artistic journey, and Oriie Yuu, who is considering giving up on her dreams for another path, drives the overall sentiment of the film. POPREQ

“Hurray!" is a video production team consisting of POPREQ, the director of this film, Ohajiki, in charge of 2D and 3D animation, and Magotsuki, in charge of design and visual work. Although still in their 20s, their message-oriented video productions based on the theme of "Hurray = encouragement, praise, and joy" resonated with teenagers, and they became famous for their music videos for Yorushika's songs Rain with Cappuccino and That’s Why I Gave Up on Music.
