Synopsis

Have you ever felt sound with your whole body? Percussionist Evelyn Glennie considers everything to be an instrument. She perceives the world around her through sounds—footsteps, car noises, and spinning wheels. Unlike many documentaries that spark heated debate, this film peacefully and movingly captures how Evelyn embraces sound with both her heart and mind.

Thomas Riedelsheimer

Born in 1963, Thomas Riedelsheimer studied at the Munich Film School. Since 1986, he has worked as a freelance writer, director, and cinematographer in Germany and internationally, including in New Zealand, Russia, Canada, and Japan. His directorial works include Lhasa (1997) and Rivers and Tides (2001).
