Synopsis

Ill fortune finds a twelve-year-old boy Emil all of a sudden. His mom left for Canada for a new beginning and his dad got laid off. This is a family movie based on a popular children’s novel written by Erich Kastener. It was praised as the German version of when it opened at the theater, receiving warm response from the audience.

프라치스카 부치

독일의 여성 감독 겸 작가로 독일 슈투트가르트와 이탈리아 로마에서 철학과 문학을 공부하였고, 이후 뮌헨 TV&영화 아카데미로 옮겨 수학하였다. 1991년부터 본격적으로 작품활동을 하고 있는 그녀는 1996년부터 루드빅스부르크 영화 아카데미에서 시나리오 강의를 하고 있다.
