Synopsis

The film was inspired by Bach’s unaccompanied cello suite no.4, with themes on generosity and communication that meets through various stories. The director Atom Egoyan creates a heartwarming drama full of humor based on the mood and emotions from Bach’s music.

Atom Egoyan

Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1960. Born to American parents, he grew up in western Canada. His early works such as his debut feature (1984) gained significant attention in the Canadian film industry, and he achieved international acclaim with (1994), a Cannes Film Festival winner. He recently released (2005), continuing his steady career as a filmmaker.
