Synopsis

Misha grows up like a weed in the slums, but when he meets John, the patron of the experimental band Cross, he is recognized for his musical talent and is overwhelmed with happiness. But when John is murdered, and Misha is forced to kill his killer, her life takes another twist. After being released from prison, Misha takes the stage as the lead singer of Phantom and is met with a rapturous reception, but the goddess of fate has another task for him. Misha's Blues is like any other movie about a music band: the rise of a star against all odds, the behind-the-scenes rivalries of the music industry, love and jealousy. However, the elaborate mise-en-scene, the Russian national aura, and the catchy songs and music make up for the clichés.

스벳틀라나 스타젠코

1961년 생. 러시아 비상업영화 감독으로 1992년 첫 영화 < Parabola>를 만들며 데뷔했다. 이 영화는 그 해 유럽 최고 영화 20편에 선정됐다. 이 외에도 다수의 단편을 연출하였으며 여러 영화제에서 좋은 평가를 받았다.
