Synopsis

The director Haavind watches some elderly canoeists paddling out into the fjord every morning. One of them always takes a tape recorder to play music while he is training at the club. There is something special about the man, the music and the club house, and Haavind begins to take black and white photographs. Gradually the film evolves into one about the life of jazz musician Gerhard Aspheim, and about our perceptions of life’s shifts and coincidences.

  • 1965년생으로 미국과 노르웨이에서 영화를 공부했다. 1994년에 Kraftwerk 프로덕션을 공동 설립했으며 2003년에는 Trøbbel AS와 COD 프로덕션을 설립하였다. 그는 현재 COD프로덕션에서 연출자와 공동 대표로 일하고 있다. 그는 주로 국내 및 해외용 광고를 담당하고 있다.​
