Synopsis

Virtuous drummer and percussionist Jair plays at an evangelist music band. One day, after defying his priest, he is expelled from Church and finds himself wondering the streets of Rio de Janeiro, initiating then his existential voyage into his music and place in the world.

  • Born in 1978 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He majored in history at the State University of Rio de Janeiro and has been a musician playing the bass for many years. His short film "Sound and Rest" gained recognition in Brazil and was selected for the competition section of the 2008 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival Cinéfondation, receiving high praise at several prestigious film festivals.
