Synopsis

Performing on the streets takes a lot of guts, as well as the skill to do it right. While street performance isn't as common a culture in Korea as it is in many European countries, there are still a few brave individuals creating original performances in designated spaces. This documentary follows the indie band “A Better Tomorrow,” whose guitarist is also the film’s director, as they perform in various street gigs and face unexpected situations along the way.

  • Yoo Min-kyu
  • Born in Seoul in 1981, Yoo Min-kyu graduated from the Department of Film and Visual Arts at Yong In University. He shot his first short film, Mother (2001), on DV and has since directed several short films and worked on music videos. A Better Tomorrow on the Street (2008) is his first feature-length directorial work. He is currently an active member of the band “A Better Tomorrow.”
