Synopsis

The One Note Man is a percussionist who always plays in the last row of the symphonic orchestra without being noticed and appreciated by the others. The percussionist has only one note to play with his cymbals to attract the attention of a woman among the audience.

  • Dahan Selaiyr holds a master's degree in film production from Istanbul and studied literature and visual culture at the University of Groningen. His short films, Revolt of the Machines and The Man Who Doesn’t Leave the Island, were screened at prestigious international short film festivals. The One Note Man was invited to the International Film Festival Rotterdam. He is currently developing his first feature film project.
