Synopsis

In a pretty little town on Jeju island, there are people who have their own histories and petty but valuable lives: an old man who once wandered around to become an artist but is now a down-and-out, a granny who seems to contempt the old man but inwardly has affection for him, Yongpil the singer, who became sick and tired of city life in Seoul after years of chasing his dreams and returned to his hometown, and Ppongttol and Dancer Kim, two portraits of Yongpil as a young man. Their flawed lives might resemble our own or serve as portraits of our youth. Surrounded by beautiful nature, their stories unfold with the native music of Jeju.
