Synopsis

An enigmatic musical poet, world-renowned pianist Glenn Gould continues to captivate twenty-seven years after his untimely death. This film weaves together an unprecedented array of never before seen footage of Gould, photographs and excerpts from his private home recordings and diaries plus personal interviews with Gould’s most intimate friends and lovers, some who have never spoken about him publicly before, to reconstruct his thoughts on music, art, society, love, and life.

  • 미셸 오제는 몬트리올에서 성장했고 콩코르디아대학에서 언론학을 전공했다. 제미니상을 두 번 수상한 다큐멘터리 편집자로 1987년부터 캐나다 영화산업에 종사해 왔으며, 캐나다 국립영화부에서 제작 및 편집분야에 종사해왔다. 최근에는 2007토론토영화제에서 최고상을 수상한 장편 다큐멘터리 <망자들과의약속: 아리엘 도르프만의 망명기>를 편집했다.
