Synopsis

Marie and Pierre are a young couple and they’re truly in love. However, in her latest dreams, Marie sees herself in love with another man. Marie would like Pierre to understand that love in a couple doesn’t last forever. The world around them starts to sing and dance.

  • Gilles Charmant, born in 1964 in Geneva, studied history at the University of Warwick in London. He worked as an assistant director on Aki Kaurismäki's "The Life of Bohemia" (1992). In 1995, he directed his first feature film, "Iron Horsemen." "How to Escape Boredom" was supported by the French-German co-production Arte channel.
