Synopsis

For over 40 years in a small town in North Carolina, two guys have been cutting hair and turning the back room of their barbershop into a jamming session for some extraordinary musicians.

  • Matt Morris, the producer and director of "Haircuts and Jams" (2008), has had the film screened at over 20 international film festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand and Aspen. It won seven awards at various festivals, including Best Documentary at the Woodstock and Florida Film Festivals. His latest work, "Watermelon Man," premiered at the 2010 Florida Film Festival and has been shown at the Nashville Film Festival and Palm Springs Short Film Festival.
