Synopsis

Yu-kyung sympathized for her brother-in-law Ji-ho who was neglected by her selfish sister Yu-hwa. One day, Yu-hwa hits a strange man, Min-jun, with her car. Yu-kyung sees the similarities between Min-jun and Ji-ho who committed suicide. Min-jun ends up staying at their place, and Yu-kyung is troubled by her sister’s interest in him. Yu-hwa, a dancer, has a comeback performance but collapses when she hears the truth about her husband’s death from Yu-kyung.

  • 1954년 11월10일 대전에서 출생. 서울예술대학 영화과를 졸업한 뒤, 임권택 감독의 조연출을 거치며 영화계에 입문한다. <겨울 나그네>(1986)로 데뷔한 이후 <두 여자의 집>(1987), <그 후로도 오랫동안>(1989), <젊은 날의 초상> (1990), <청춘>(2000) 등 자전적 감성이 담긴 그의 멜로영화들은 영화적 표현에 있어 서 완성도가 뛰어난 작품으로 평가되고 있다. 2010년 5월25일 타계했다.
