Synopsis

This is a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the classic 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon. It features individual interviews with band members, concert and studio footage, video clips, and original demo recording sessions. Engineer Alan Parsons and cover artist Storm Thorgerson offer up commentary, while several music journalists and record label executives reveal some brief insight. Special features include alternate versions of ‘Brain Damage,’ ‘Breathe,’ and ‘Time’. Featuring specially shot films for the Pink Floyd concerts, archive footage and stills, it provides a unique insight into the process behind the making of one of the greatest records of all time which holds the record for the longest ever stay in the album charts.
