Synopsis

A poor musician Kim Woo-jin’s life seems to be filled with misfortunes. Someone plagiarized his music and his girlfriend dumped him. Coming down to a friend’s house in their hometown with a broken heart, he makes music for a musical his college senior asked and tries to forget all about the impoverishing city life, to establish a small musical academy targeting neighborhood kids. However, an old lady with an innocent look constantly comes to the house and disturbs Woo-jin’s peace. He inevitably learns to coexist with this unwanted visitor and through her, he looks back at his previous life. By the delicate direction of new talent Jeon So-hyun, various kinds of music including folk song, classical, rock, and more, which actual musicians perform, harmonize with this heartwarming story.

  • Director Jeon So-hyun has worked for a long time in writing music-related articles and curating songs. In 2000, she released an experimental short film . "The Guitar Laughs" is her first feature film, and she also wrote the lyrics for the song "Human Landscape" that was included in the film's soundtrack.
