Synopsis

This documentary interweaves two subjects: the Cort/Cortek laborers’ struggle for reinstatement against the pseudo-closure of the factory and the underground musicians who participated in The Concert for Cort/Cortek laborers from last December 9th to 14th. The film focuses not only on the musicians’ early memories with their guitars, but also shows how these musicians came to terms with the situation of the laborers. From a tiny live club to strikes on the streets, the melody of guitars harmonizes performers and audiences, artists and laborers

  • 1972년 서울 생으로 1998년 건국대학교 국어국문학과를 졸업했다. RTV 다큐멘터리시리즈 중 <다른 세상을 꿈꾸다 - 아줌마 교사가 되다> (2009)의 연출, 촬영, 편집을 맡았다. <기타 이야기>는 그의 장편 데뷔작이다.
