Synopsis

Three exchange students from Japan, Paraguay and Malaysia form a band named Alien Band. One day, a crisis emerges. The school requires that every group which does not have enough members or any accomplishments in national competitions must be disbanded. Thus, Norika plans to join the Asian Rock Festival by bringing Duck-su, a talented Korean guitarist to the band. However, Alien Band comes to crisis due to Duck-su’s irresponsibility. Regardless of complications, they leave the road to be qualified at a preliminary contest in the Asian Rock Festival held in Seoul. But there are severe trials and suffering awaiting... To live as a foreigner in Korea is never easy, but the Alien band shines with excitement and happiness on the stage.

  • 1968년생으로 성균관대학교를 졸업한 후, <고스트 맘마>(1996), <찜>(1998), <하루>(2000) 등 여러 장편영화에 조감독으로 참여했다. <에일리언 밴드>는 그의 장편 데뷔작이다.
