Synopsis

To capture the amazing vitality of one of the last living legends of modern jazz, this film follows Lee Konitz with young pianist Dan Tepfer through 4 consecutive concerts from Barcelona to Paris, via Hyeres and Offenburg, featuring the standard he has been playing tirelessly for over 60 years: *All the Things You Are*. A touching road movie in the footsteps of the 'travelling salesman of improvisation.'

  • He studied philosophy at Paris 10 University and music at Paris 8 University. He serves as the executive chairman of the Folk and Jazz Festival, founded in 2002, and in 2004, he established the jazz label Archibol. In 2005, he founded Oleo Films, where he continues to work in the fields of jazz and film.
