Synopsis

The 75-year-old Saluzzi, a bandoneon player and composer, is the central caracter of the film. We meet him in Basel, rehearsing for a concert with George Gruntz. They recall when Saluzzi left home to live on Jazz in Europe. Another character is the German cellist Anja Lechner. We follow her to Yerevan, where she plays a concert and gets involved with the Armenian culture. Later she records a new CD with Saluzzi in Argentina. Saluzzi takes Anja to the Andes where he has his musical roots. There they also meet old friends, who have been playing popular dance music every Sunday until today.
