Synopsis

*Abba* is a new-style musical movie and the biographical film of the King of Taiwanese music, Hong Yi-feng. The story began in 2010 with the start of a concert agreed upon by the three brothers of Hung and their father. While searching for their father, they uncovered the missing pieces of their lives and gradually pieced together the life of the legendary music master, their beloved father. During the search, they accidentally discovered that they could never shed their father’s DNA, which flows through their blood. They also found that although their father was absent from the family, his works and songs were never gone.

  • Hong Long-liang, the third son of Hong Yi-feng, has produced over 1,000 music programs since 1999. He is a producer who works across exhibitions, music, and film. He has won the Golden Melody Award six times in Taiwan and has received 19 awards in various music award ceremonies. He is still actively promoting popular music and cultural heritage in Taiwan.
