Synopsis

A young girl named Katusha is a talented violinist and has recently been accepted to The Royal Danish Academy of Music. She is performing a farewell concert in the small village where she was born and raised before moving to Copenhagen the next day. The music is a composition she has written herself and dedicated to her father. But as has happened many times before, her father does not show up, despite his promise.

  • Director and screenwriter Anders Walter was born in 1978 in Aarhus, Denmark. His acclaimed short film *Helium* was his third short, and his previous work, *9 Meters*, was shortlisted for the 2013 Academy Awards. Walter has also designed posters for various films and illustrated Danish fairy tales.
