Synopsis

A bitter-sweet black comedy about one man's obsessive attempt to get a rare and valuable stamp known as ‘the Blue Sophia’. It is the one stamp missing from his recently deceased wife's stamp collection and he is hoping that procuring it will help him to overcome his grief. When he asks the members of his brass band for help, the story takes an unexpected turn.

  • 필립 클링거는 독일 슈바르츠발트 인근의 작은 마을에서 성장하며 일찍이 연극과 글쓰기, 음악, 영화에서 탈출구를 찾았다. 영화제작사에서 미디어 디자이너 수습과정을 거친 후, 주로 광고와 장편 영화 제1조감독으로 일했다. 첫 단편 영화 덕분에 바덴-뷔르템베르크 영화아카데미에 입학하여 연출을 공부하게 되었다.
