Synopsis

Sam Holzmann inherits a family-owned violin shop after his father's death. The traditional luthier's workshop is facing inevitable bankruptcy with no orchestra in town and all the father's customers gone. Sam's mother, Barbara, decides to save the shop by introducing electric violins to the market that stands in conflict with Sam's esthetic principles. He fights to accept change and find his place in the modern world.

  • 카롤리나 미클로쟈크는 바르샤바 영화학교, 런던 영화학교, 그리고 뉴욕 필름아카데미에서 연출을 전공했다. 첫 작품<아버지>는 포즈난 폴란드-유태인 필름포럼에서 상영되었고, 현재 그녀는 미국과 이스라엘을 비롯한 여러 나라에서 20여편의 단편 영화를 제작해오고 있다.
