Synopsis

Beatbox: Boom Bap around the World takes us to the four corners of the Beatbox planet, led by the artists who electrify the international stage. This unique journey follows Rahzel and Kenny Muhammad in New York, Flashbox, Alem, and BMG in France, and the world championships in Berlin, unveiling a flourishing and distinctive art form, as well as its ancestral roots.

  • Pascal Tessaud
  • Born in Paris, Pascal Tessaud studied literature, cinema, and philosophy at Nanterre University. Before becoming a filmmaker, he worked for three years at an association in Saint-Denis. To date, he has made three short films: Somnambulists (2003), Noura’s Summer (2005), and Faces (2008). His 2007 documentary We Who Are Enthusiastic about Slam was screened in 35 countries.
