Synopsis

Rincon de Parangueo is a community that is located in the municipality of Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, a place that has approximately 2,000 inhabitants. It has a history and rooted tradition in regional Mexican music bands. Here, 85% of the male population is dedicated to playing musical instruments, which improves the social economy and changes their lifestyle.

  • Born in 1995, Luis Ángel Saldaña Ramírez began learning piano at the age of 11 and drums at around 16. He has directed two documentaries, taking on roles from production to promotion. Musical Village won first place in the Documentary College Category at the 18th Guanajuato Film Festival.
