Synopsis

This film tracks down the mid-90s cultural changes and its movement within the society in Korea as well as the independent music scene that happened in Hongdae around the same time. Our purpose and goal is to carefully think about the role of the independent music scene in Korea and how it offers different types of music and its own unique culture.

  • Born in Busan in 1987, Park Hyung-jin accidentally became involved in a short web documentary series, which led him to the world of documentaries. Interested in the social impact of subcultures, he participated in the curation of the Seoul Museum of Art's 'Subculture: Angry Youth' exhibition and directed .
