Synopsis

Encore is a short fantasy film based on a famous rock musician who suddenly died in October 2014. Unexpectedly put in coma, the musician has a dream where he meets underworld fairies, experiences bizarre incidents and runs away. In his dream, he realizes that he is close to death and prepares his last concert to play the music he loved the most for his fans.

  • 조승현은 경기대학교 영화동아리 ‘영화마을 빛터’에서 단편 작업을 하며 영화를 시작하였다. 대학교를 중퇴한 이후 <무서운 이야기>, <배우는 배우다>, <황구>등 여러 영화에서 연출부를 거쳐 조감독으로 활동 중이며, <앵콜>은 근 10년만에 작업한 그의 첫 단편이다.
