Synopsis

Encore is a short fantasy film based on a famous rock musician who suddenly died in October 2014. Unexpectedly put in a coma, the musician has a dream where he meets underworld fairies, experiences bizarre incidents, and runs away. In his dream, he realizes that he is close to death and prepares his last concert to play the music he loved the most for his fans.

  • Cho Seung-hyun began making short films at Kyonggi University’s film club, 'Film Village Bitto.' After dropping out of university, he worked in the direction department for several films such as Scary Stories, Actors Are Actors, and Hwang-gu, where he worked as an assistant director. Encore is his first short film after nearly 10 years of working in the film industry.
